my story

Growing up in Invercargill, I enjoyed the outdoors and farm life and if I was inside I think I coloured in every colouring in book that ever existed. Once I moved to Auckland I found my feet in the big city and got stuck in to the office life - but I still make time to get out in the fresh air. I'm now lucky to have two children and a husband that motivate me to live life to the fullest.

 

My journey as a designer hasn't been the stock standard path. I've dabbled in retail, administration work. But what I really have a passion for is design, from branding, illustrations, layout, creating concepts, understanding user experience, to create better designed work for clients end users. I love working with people and hearing clients thankful for the design value added to projects, and I enjoy collaborating on ideas with peers and stakeholders to create the best outputs. Good design really can make a difference to clients and customers, it is after all a problem solving skill! I enjoy the challenge and reward that comes with putting time and effort into a project, and I look forward to the next transformation I get to work on.
